Fall in Montana

fall fishing

It's pretty hard to beat fall in Montana — and all the more so when we've had plenty of water all year, and an unusuall warm and beautiful Indian summer. The fishing on our area rivers has been outstanding, as the browns start thinking about spawning and the rainbows are still thinking about eating. Even if the fishing was slow, all the wildlife, colorful cottonwoods, and clear blue skies make for a terrific excuse to be out on the water!
